District 16 is hosting free one-hour Zoom lectures for beginner/intermediate bridge players who want to improve their bridge game and sharpen their skills.

Getting the Most from Preemptive Openings

 

In this presentation, you’ll learn how to preempt more effectively – how to use preempts as both an offensive tool (the Sword) and a defensive tool (the Shield), and effective ways to respond once your partner has opened with a Weak 2 bid.

About Thomas...

 

Thomas Rush is a bridge teacher known for coaching partnerships to obtain their maximum potential. He coached both the successful District 16 Grand National Teams (GNT) and North American Pairs partnerships.Thomas has won the Unit 174 Mini-McKenney Masterpoint Race in his bracket on multiple years as well as being on the team that won the 2019

NABC Flight B Sheinwold GNT. He was twice nominated for District 16 Teacher of the Year.
